I recently found myself at a cross road, after a couple of decades as a graphic designer.
I was considering giving up the design game altogether, until a colleague asked,
"have you thought about UX?

And I realised I actually didn't really know what it was all about. So I enrolled in a course, found myself with a fabulous crew of people from all walks of life, and two incredible mentors who gave us a box of tools to venture into the world of designing successful,  enjoyable and inspirational experiences for our fellow humans to engage with technology products.
It's been an amazing ride and I'm now looking to expand my horizons and crack out my tool kit, work with sensational people to learn everything I can from them, and solve problems to create the best experiences possible. Given my graphic design background, I'm inevitably drawn to the UI side of the storytelling journey.
My Academy Xi project work was answering the question, "how might we track missing dogs?", and the download to the presentation notes are here.
